Game Vault New Download Link

Every so often the Game Vault player download address changes. Handled badly, a link change floods your chat and opens the door to fake copies.

First, confirm it

Do not forward a "new link" just because someone posted it in a group. Ask your supplier to confirm the current address, or check it yourself on a spare device before you share it.

Announce once, clearly

Send one short broadcast: the new link, the date it changed, and a line saying the old link no longer works. Pin that message. Repeating the announcement in ten slightly different forms only confuses people.

Warn about lookalikes

Link changes are when scam sites appear. Tell players you will only ever send links from your own number, and that they should ask you before installing anything from elsewhere.

Help the stragglers

• Some players will keep opening the old app; ask them to uninstall it first.
• Android may warn about installing outside the store; explain the setting calmly.
• iPhone users may need a different route; check before promising anything.

Accounts do not change

A new download link does not mean new usernames. Tell worried players their points are tied to the username, so a reinstall changes nothing.

Keep your own record

Note every link change in your log with the date. When a player says "it stopped working last week", you will know why.
