Game Vault Load Cut-Off Times

An agent who answers at every hour eventually answers badly. A published cut-off tells Game Vault players exactly when requests are handled and when they wait.

What a cut-off is

It is the last time each day you accept a request for that day. Anything after it is handled first thing in your next shift. Separate cut-offs for loads and cash-outs are common, with cash-outs usually earlier because they need checking.

Choosing the time

Look at your log for the hour when requests trail off. Set the cut-off a little after it. If you have players across time zones, state the time in theirs as well as yours.

Telling players

Put the cut-off in your profile status, your pinned message and your welcome text. Use the same wording in all three places.

After cut-off

• Send an auto-reply that confirms the request was received.
• Say when it will be handled.
• Do not process it half-asleep and risk a mistake.

Exceptions

You may choose to stretch the cut-off on a holiday weekend. Announce that in advance so it reads as a bonus, not as inconsistency.

Review it

If many requests pile up after the cut-off every night, you may need a helper for a late shift rather than staying up yourself. A rested agent with clear hours keeps more players than an exhausted one who is always online.
