Reading the Game Vault Transaction Log

The Game Vault history page answers most "what happened?" questions in seconds, if you know how to read it.

The columns

Each entry shows when it happened, which login made it, which account was affected, whether points went in or out, how many, and the balance left. Read across a row and you have the full story of one action.

Narrow it down

Filter by date for a single shift, or search a username when a player asks about their account. Distributors can pick a seller to see only that seller's activity.

Patterns worth noticing

  • Doubles: two identical loads close together, usually a double tap.
  • Orphans: points loaded but no payment recorded for them.
  • Gaps: a redeem that was never paid, or paid twice.
  • Odd hours: activity when your shop or inbox was closed.

A habit that pays off

At closing time, filter to today and compare totals with your sheet. It takes five minutes. Once a week, screenshot the history and save it with your own records.

Correcting mistakes

Entries cannot be erased. Loaded the wrong player? Take the points back with a redeem, load the correct username and write both lines in your sheet. Staff-level traceability is covered in staff logins and security.
